Since they are from two different prides, they hardly meet as cubs and young teenagers. But as Hitch aint the heir of the pride, he seach for a pride of his own.
Sugar is old enough and strong enough to go hunting longer away from the pride.
Hitch is a lion from a pride where the kings are from Apollon Pride, but they went of to get there own pride.
Sugar is from Moon Pride, the earlier version of it (yes iknow i said before it was under the evil king but its not) she grows up just before the evil king.
